Sir Q--I can only say that the man selling them is NOT the owner of the cards, and he does NOW post that they have no bar code after I told him they were just samples a month ago. He said that he did NOT know.

I am guessing the people that are buying them are doing so because the real cards are OBS, and a $5 sample is better than nothing. Montana has gone to plastic tabs. People ask me about the sample cards and I tell them what I know, as we have been to Montana over 6 times, and even spoken to the company that made the cards and gave them away to a someone when they knew they were closing. The casinos were not like Vegas, and they had simple computers. That is why the issued cards were NOT embossed for the most part, but were signed on the back by the player. I have both, signed and unsigned cards (blanks)--but ALL my cards issued from the casinos came with a bar code on the back. Pat
