Check out this manufacturing error on a gold Ameristar Players Club card from Vicksburg, MS. There's a "gouge" in the front gold plastic surface that is UNDER the clear lamination so you cannot feel the gouge but you can clearly see it. Plus the player info is actually printed OVER the gouge without any issues although it's very difficult to see the silver printing.
