If you used the Slot Card Guide to track what cards you had in the past and then hated the daunting task of transferring that information from release to release of the Slot Card Guide...... there's now a simple solution courtesy of the ChipGuide.

Charles Kaplan gave a presentation at the convention going over the new feature where you can mark items as "In My Collection" (MC) or "On My Want List" (WL), then share those lists with others, etc. You have to be a member of the CCGTCC and have an account/logon on the ChipGuide to be able to use the new feature. Once you log into your account you'll see two small red circles next to the CG# for each entry. When you click on either, they turn green and the item is added to your collection list or your want list. And the best part is that you'll have access to your info wherever you are if you have a smart phone, tablet or computer. Plus you won't have to worry about keeping your data up to date whenever a new release of the Slot Card Guide appears!

And don't forget, if you do have an account on the CG you can also get the daily newsletter listing what's been added or changed in any category you're interested in. I don't always post info on newly added foreign slot cards here on the BBS but that info would always be in the CG newsletter along with info on all the other newly added or changed slot cards. If you do get the newsletter and are watching slot card info, the occasional burst of slot card updates are generally just cleanups to earlier listings that were done when we first loaded all the slot card info.
