According to an article in the latest newsletter from Spinettis Gaming yesterday.......

Earlier this week it was announced that a trio of Las Vegas casinos, including the iconic Stratosphere Hotel & Casino, have been sold.

The Golden Entertainment company, which owns the chain of local PT's Pubs, made public that it is buying the American Casino and Entertainment Properties. This company owns the formally mentioned Stratosphere Hotel and Casino, Arizona Charlie's Decatur Hotel and Casino, Arizona Charlie's Boulder Hotel and Casino and the Aquarius Casino in Laughlin Nevada.

The sale still has to be approved by the Nevada Gaming Board and that is expected to be happen before the end of 2017.

There has been not mention if the properties will be re-branded or if they will retain their familiar names.
