I think the economy had a lot to do with it as well as the number of older collectors who have retired from collecting and sold their collections. One thing I'm seeing is renewed interest in slot cards as we get more and more information and scans on the ChipGuide. A lot of the chip collectors are now starting to take an interest in the cards as they find out more about them.
