Thought I'd share this one and the story behind it. In 2003/2004ish, Cannery Casino wanted to do a special card for two of their guests, Robert & Ruth Kehl. I won't go into their background, but you can find out how they earned their fortune with a quick Google search (it's riverboat casino related). Anyhow, they contracted to make these two cards for them - a custom design with their names pre-imprinted on them (there are NO blanks, their names were part of the printing process). They then presented one of each to them.
This was an extremely expensive run for them, costing the casino well over $600/card. One sheet was made (30 cards total, 15 of each) and after throwing away a few bad ones, the best two were picked and sent to the Cannery. The rest are in job files, etc. Less than 10 good ones of each name were made! I don't recall ever posting these before, so I thought I'd share them!
