At one Starbucks here, they've had them for awhile but were not allowed to put them out earlier. I imagine that one box was shipped to all stores and some admitted they received them and some didn't (or the managers just didn't bother telling anyone else about them).

I'm sure the cards can be a pain at times with collector "demands". Sometimes collectors aren't the nicest people...remind me to tell you someday about playing a silver strike machine at the Palms several years ago and how my play was interrupted by a floor manager to satisfy the complaints of a collector that was playing the machine before me. I'm sure we all have seen some ugly collectible-related incidents over the years. It's helpful to keep in mind that in a lot of cases, the item isn't primarily designed to be a collectible and the sales related to collectors is small. Like a friend once said about silver strike sales related to the total operations of a casino, specifically the anger related to silver strike sales at the Flamingo..."it's not even like they (the collectors) are the tail trying to wag the dog...it's more like a flea on the tail of the dog thinking it can wag the dog"
