There's a slight difference in the way that Pat counted the number of entries listed vs what I've used... I used the Word search feature to actually count all the entries by their checkbox to get a true count of what's listed.

In the 7th edition of the guide there were over 9,900 cards listed using my search method although not all the entries had the correct checkbox character so the actual number of entries may have been slightly higher. There were slightly over 230 pages in that edition.

When Pat gave me the master files there were approximately 11,250 cards listed using my search method of counting after I corrected the check box characters. This was approximately 16 months after she had published the 7th edition and she had been adding cards during that time.

This 8th edition now lists over 12,400 cards so there's been a considerable number of additions since the 7th edition! By the way, the new edition is now almost 280 pages.

I should point out that I've found cardboard packing specifically made for mailing books instead of using envelopes so that should better protect the books when they're mailed.
