While consolidating a bunch of Russian slot cards recently acquired with my original collection I came across an interesting variation on a NUMBER of different casino's cards that were not documented in the older versions of the slot card guide. The front designs are exactly the same on both variations of these cards except for the player number.
It appears the earlier cards had embossed player numbers on the front and the rear magnetic stripe was smaller (typically 10mm wide) plus the text on the reverse was higher on the card, closer to the mag stripe so the embossed player number didn't obscure any of the text.
On what I think are the newer cards from the same casinos the player numbers on the front are now printed and the rear magnetic stripe is larger (typically 12.5mm wide) plus the text on the reverse is now lower on the card, closer to the bottom edge of the card.
I've added the differences to the new slot card guide I'm working on for the cards I've found. If anyone else finds any of these variations please let me know so I can see if they need to be added to the guide also.
