This question surfaces every once in a while. Casinos here in Colorado no longer ask for SS numbers (some did when they first opened in the early '90s and you filled out their slot club membership card) and only if you win a big enough amount that it has to be reported to the IRS do they even ask for your SSN. I have my doubts that your SSN is recorded on the slot card mag strip. They track the amount of your play and winnings. However, you can ask at your favorite casino slot club and see what they say.
As for room keys, they record your room number and check in/check out dates according to what I've been told. They do not record credit card numbers.
