Re: .....value
The values of the cards do go up and down depending on how many we know are out there. The more I see, the more the value falls. One good example was a Riverboat card someone found and sold 100's on eBay a few months back. I also change liner notes from "3 known", to "4 known", and etc as I get the info. Cards NOT issued from the casinos or cards we are unsure were issued, also have a liner note until confirmed they were issued. This has happened with several cards and there is always someone who will have one in their collection with a NAME on it, and they contact me. I then change the card in the computer. I keep up and work on this daily. I love working with the cards, and have added another 700 to the computer since January. I want to add another 4,000-5,000 before I print another book which could be several years in the future. Pat
PS--Last year I did remove a set of cards I thought were phantom cards. I got an email in February with a scan of the cards and the man's name on them. He assured me the cards were issued, and he is a well known collector. I have re-added the cards to the computer. Just an example of one of many of changes in the guide. More cards do drop in value than go up.
