As mentioned in SCU - WI 102, the Ho-Chunk Nation has a massive casino-hotel-convention complex in Baraboo (The Ho-Chunk Casino) that is one of the big three casino complexes in Wisconsin. Thay also have two smaller casino operations in the state. The Rainbow Casino, near Nekoosa in the middle of Wisconsin, is a medium sized place that is usually pretty crowded on weekends. In the matter of cards, they have had several types over the years. The first one was used back in the days of punch card readers, and was replaced by the second card that was similar, just re-done for the magnetic strip. Late in '99 the new flying eagle design was released on a very dark purple, almost black card. I have heard people say that this was one of the best looking cards they've ever seen, and I would agree, except that the imprinted name is designed to run over the design. Just this year they have a new card that uses the same disign with a little lighter purple backround and the added web address on thge back. The other location, the Majestic Pines Casino, for years was a bingo hall with an added area the size of a two car garage crammed full of slot machines. In '98 they built a small-medium sized modern casino-hotel, and in '99 they put blackjack tables in. Here are the two types of cards they have had, and they have always been very hard to get for me. The place is too far to get to very often, they won't give you more than one card a visit, and practically none of these people leave cards on the machines. I would expect at some point to see a new card here with the addition of the web address, since other Wisconsin casinos, especially the two other Ho-Chunk ones, have done so. I have no Majestic Pines to trade, but I have a lead with a guy who lives up near there. I have a few Rainbow cards to trade, some type 3 and 4
