Congratulations to the winners of the CC>CC's 2002 CKOTY Awards.

1st Place (Gold) went to the Palms Casino Resort, Palms Playboy Weekend room key.

2nd Place (Silver) went to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, girl with dice room key.

3rd Place (Bronze) went to the Pioneer Hotel and Gambling Hall, Round-Up Club slot club card.

The Silver and Bronze awards are yet to be handed out, however the Gold Award was given to Mr. Marc Nelson, Director of Ancillary Gaming, Palms Casino Resort at the Convention Banquet.

Also accepting an award for the 1st Place victory was Mr. Scott Brady, Able Card Company in recognition of manufacturing the award winning card.

I congratulate all the winners and say thank you to the representatives that attended the Banquet to accept the awards on behalf of their organizations.

I would also like to thank everyone who posted scans of the many eligible 2002 cards to the Unofficial CKOTY Viewing Site. Please note that everyone is encouraged and welcome to post scans to the 2003 Unofficial CKOTY Viewing Site. And I thank everyone who "loaned" me cards so that I could scan them and include them into the Judge's Pamphlet; Jim Munding, Scott Brady and Larry Hollibaugh.

Lastly, I need to thank someone whom I can't remember. I remember the deed, but not the person. That someone is a female and I bought from her a Palms Playboy Weekend room key. When I asked if she had one, she said yes and went and got for me. She tried to give it to me (gratis) but I insisted on paying for it. If you are reading this, can you please remind me who you are.
