The Billhere e-mail Las Vegas newsletter I get just reported that sometime in June Coast Casinos will start their new slot club card which will be good at all their casinos (Orleans, Suncoast, Gold Coast and Barbary Coast). Anyone else have news of this? It would be great if they put this in just before the convention!

They also report the old Maxim will be renovated and open July 1st as the Westin Casuarina Hotel & Casino. July 6th will be the last pirate battle out front of Treasure Island - we will have to see it one last time while we're in Vegas. And they mention that Tropicana is not accepting any convention bookings past May, 2004. Speculation is that major redevelopment is going to take place. Maybe even demolition of one or two of the existing towers. Could this effect the 2004 CC & GTCC Convention?
