I've seen Dick Brach's dupe card inventory ... and he's right... he has amassed a considerable inventory of traders that he doesn't need to put duplicate cards in a Round Robin ... nor do I believe that Dick would even think of doing so.

However, I think that this subject about the 3 digit prefixes, which has been discussed on this forum in the past, should be spelled out by future RR originators as a matter of ground rules.

I personally could care less what 3 number prefix is on the card ... as that embossing or printing is added by the individual casino ... not by the card manufacturer.... it is simply an account number.

I don't know about anybody else... but I would be mildly pi$$ed off if I received a RR with a dozen or more of the same card (Harrah's as an example) with the only difference being the 3 prefix digits... and somebody was trying to convince me they were all different. Now I know that some people chase after certain prefix numbers and are thrilled when an elusive number is found. To me; and I'm sure to others, (for round robin purposes and discussion) they are dupes and perhaps should be treated as such.

Perhaps these 3 digit prefix numbers are what all the hub-hub is about regarding "disgusting" dupes??? It should be an easy problem to resolve in the future. Simply prohibit 3-digit prefix variations in future Round Robins.

Just my personal thoughts.... not looking for a bb fight.
