New at The President - St. Louis

At this place I was lucky to see they redesigned the black cards to read "Laclede's Landing" instead of the old "Casino by the Arch" they used to use. Laclede's Landing is the designation for the entertainment district near downtown St. Louis where thousands of people that Saturday night were determined to make driving and parking a huge pain. I also found a high level "Galaxy Club" card in use. In Missouri, they still have a $500 loss limit on gambling. Years back, they used to issue you a sheet of coupons totaling $500 when you boarded, and in order to buy $50 in chips or tokens you had to hand in a $50 coupon. Well now they use the player's cards to record this. When you put $50 into a bill acceptor or buy chips at a table, you have to have a valid players card and the machine tells you how much of your $500 limit is left. Which means in Missouri you cannot have a card in another name and use it to avoid the $500 loss limit rule. So if you are caught by security in this state with cards not in your own name, that's what they will accuse you of!
