Scott,
Thanks for the comment. I can honestly say that I too considered ka-koty and I think it works. I even had "casino card" being the "CC".
So I can go along with CCOTY, prononced ka-koty.
I also thank you for the comment about "VIP" cards, however, they will not be included in the 2002 awards. Only slot club cards and room keys will be considered.
If the Chapter membership thinks otherwise (for next year) then I suggest that they lobby the Officers for a change, or lobby the Officers to put it to a vote.
Personnaly, I have no problem with the card of the year contest being open to any and all casino-related cards (slot cards, VIP cards, room key cards, phone cards, employee ID cards, pit cards, slot machine attendant cards, race and book cards, etc.), however, as the ...OTY Chairman, I have opted to have the Slot Card and Room Key Chapter of the CC>CC advise the CC>CC as to the definition of a card for purposes of the award.
This is also done with the Silver Strike of the Year contest. The Silver Strikers Chapter of the CC>CC advises the CC>CC as to what the definition of a Silver Strike is in relationship to the SSOTY.
