Andy--if there are 500 cards out there, that makes it about 5 for each collector!! I hate to see people get burned on prices too. In the guide we thought there were 20, making the value at $100+ for a beautiful card. Now if they are common cards, this once rare and sought after card will be trash. I know people who have spent a lot of money for these cards, and now what do they do? No, they were NOT ripped off when they bought them, but I for one would like to know if there are boxes of the Landmark card available after I paid $200 for mine! What a kick in the teeth. Yes, cut them up. Not to keep collectors from having them, but to save face for the others who thought these were once gold. It saddens me. It really does. This was one diamond in the mines of Colorado cards, and now is nothing but fools gold. What a shame.
PS---like I said in my last posting, if someone does have a box of them, pass them out to the collectors. Don't sell them on ebay for $50! I too had a lot of the Brass Ass cards, and for the birthday of the PACK club, each and every person in the club got one. But alas, yes, there were some on ebay right after that--the very cards I gave away, were being sold by the people I sent them to. Pat
