I didn't think cheap cards worked like cheap chips? People wonder if I'm really Scottish? Or maybe what cheap chips I have for sale?
My card collection would fit in your wallet and about half of it came from a round robin. I put in my old Laughlin and Las Vegas cards from the early 90's and hopefully someone got some nice old cards out of the deal.
Last time I was in Reno was 1990 and I don't remember any slot cards at the casinos. Some of the Las Vegas cards are dated 1992 and I think that is when I first signed up for one.
Funny part is the casinos had expiration dates on them and Excalibur had a temp card, which you needed to get a certain number of points, before they would issue you a slot card. I'd still have that one, but Mom left it in a machine and the casino said, it wasn't worth their time or trouble to return them, they just destroyed the lost cards, and I would have to start over again.
I don't actively collect slot cards, or room keys. However like everything else, I do accumulate them.
