Yes the face printing does fade, some more than others. A few have a printed notice that says do not expose to heat or sunlight. I keep mine on black pages in a closed book. I have some going back to 1999 that are fine and others from 2002 that are starting to fade. I think it may have something to do with how the printer is adjusted. This problem is why in my exhibit at the convention I showed mostly backs, to reduce the light on the fronts.
