I'm glad Mel responded. At least now there's two sides of the issue represented and everybody can come to their own conclusion. The idea of an "Editorial Board" designed to approve/censor articles - I find utterly abhorrent, not to mention unworkable. The Editor is responsible for content. He's an unpaid volunteer. We're lucky he does the job at all. Deadlines are very tight as it is and this would probably cause many delays. If you make the job a bigger hassle than it already is, you probably won't have an editor anymore! I can't speak for John Yee, but if I had to go through the irritating, time-consuming hassle of going through a committee to approve every article, I would resign the position. Just my 2 cents.
