Since I last reported about cards at the Diamond Jo Casino Riverboat in Dubuque, Iowa, changes have been made. Parts one and two of this lesson were posted a year ago, and included cards up to and including the different types of blue faced Wild Cards. Last December I came across the clear plastic Elite cards which if for no other reason, are great for their unique see-through appearance. The Elite Diamond cards are known in two types - with an 11mm magnetic stripe, that is visible through the card when looking at the front, and with a narrower 8mm stripe that can't be seen from the front. This spring the casino switched their basic level card from the blue types over to the new one shown here, which has been refered to as the "tiger stripe" variety for obvious reasons. Finally, just this weekend I went down to the area to check the boats out and came upon one more new type. There are now two kinds of the small "Wild Card Club" logo cards - the old one had text with lines 1) through 5), [just like the first variation of the blue Wild Cards] and the new one has the text with lines 1) through 6) and the web site/phone number line[just like the "tiger stripe" Wild Cards].
