Thanx to Dennis Finn for his great help in planning out my trip ( one heck of a lot better then the AAA "trip ticks" could ever do,) I had a very successful slot card run to the San Diego and North San Diego Indian Casino's.
Typically, each one of us making the exact trip will have different reactions depending upon the individuals we encounter. I read the post below regarding the Pechanga experiences by many of our collectors. Having visited my share of Indian Casinos, I can very well understand the reactions of our counterparts. Personally, my experience with the Pechanga personal was in a very positive mode but that doesn't mean that it would be the same the next time I return.
I don't play slot machine, (or for that matter, any casino banked games) so my only reason for going to any Indian Casino is either to harvest chips, slot cards, room keys or to play live poker. To me, all the Indian Casinos look the same. But then again, except for the Venetian, most all casinos look the same to me.
My one really bad experience was on the trip back to Northern Califoria when I made a side trip to Eagle Mountain. Now that was an experience. When I finally got to Porterville (which was way off my course in the first place) then another 15 miles up the winding mountain path (at least it seems like a path,) I was impolitely asked to leave as I was carrying a shoulder bag when I entered the casino. I understand the 9/11 precautions, but at least be polite about it. They probably would have treated me better if I had explosive devices rather than "Chipper", my 4 lb. Yorkie. Would go into further detail, but suffice it to say, they will never see us again.
Possibly later on today I will be posting a lot of blank cards for sale and trade. Please keep listening
