Yes, there have been some problems with some of the Groups, but I am addressing those problems as best as I can. I apologize to those that received groups containing duplicates or keys that did not meet with the rules as stated prior to registration. I do keep a record of reports that come in as the RRs progress from one location to another and I greatly appreciate the updates I receive directly by email.
At this time, all I ask is that you sit back and wait for the RR packages to arrive. Once they arrive, please have fun with them . I hope you find a lot of keys to add to your collections. If you find anything that seems out of line in the group, please contact me directly by email and I will decide what actions, if any, need to be taken at that time with the particular group in question.
Group #4 has been "called home" as noted in another posting and the tracking number has been provided so group participants can follow its progress. I will be adjusting this group as needed to return it to the initial guidelines of the RR and then "setting it free" on its regularly scheduled route. I am aware of timing issues relating to this group, however, I don't beleive the delay will result in any conflicts with scheduled vacations as I believe I have allowed sufficient timing "cushions".
I do not plan on running any RRs for the remainder of the year, however, please understand that this has nothing to do with any problems relating to the RRs. With the holidays approaching, I believe it would be too difficult to properly run a RR at this time of year. I intend to run room key RRs again following the start of the year.
Thanks again to all that participated in the RR. Now let's have fun with these silly little sheets of plastic.
Jim
