Up-date on Hoodie key availability at The Orleans

I guess that these will be hard to come by! Pam (my wife) stopped by the Registration desk very late last night (or very early this morning, depending on how you look at it) and found the staff to be very, very bored. She asked for Hoodie Award room keys and they (2 Krewe Members) looked into the supply boxes of the 15 or so Registration Desk work locations and found no keys!

They said that the event was over, the keys were removed to make way for a new key being released soon for the Mr. Olympia event coming up this weekend (I believe). She was offered 2 of those yet-to-be-released keys and they are not available as traders. However, these keys will be available shortly and I plan on being there next week and will get some as traders! (I would suspect that some locals will also show up for keys as I am mentioning it here. vbg )

Anyway, the 2 very bored Krewe Members offered up a "VIP" key, a "Justin Boots" key and the most recent "Maxxis" moto-cross event key as solice for Pam's dissappointment for no Hoodie keys. As she was walking away one of the Krewe Members said, "Hey, maybe we should check the Key Deposit Box." (Not unlike other hotels, there is a metal key deposit box near the exit for patrons to leave their room key(s) as they leave the property.) When they opened it they found several Hoodie keys, so I now have a trader for those that have asked so far, even ole Ralph "What About Me?" Myers! vbg

(If my website was up, I'd show a scan of the room keys (both the Hoodie and the Mr. Olympia. sad )

BTW-Just like the Hoodie Awards key, the Mr. Olympia key does not have The Orleans name, logo or other indicator to attribute it to The Orleans or Boyd Gaming.
