Here's the story I know:
There is a equipment dealer in Las Vegas called ECR Sales & Service. They sell the DataCard brand of printers/embossers (the machine that puts the name on the card). They are/were the person selling to Camel Rock.
ECR bought a batch of cards from CPI about 18 months ago, and the casino rejected them (didn't like the color). ECR then bought from us, and the casino accepted them. I do not believe Camel Rock returned the "rejected" batch to ECR.
"Maybe" the casino started using a box of the CPI cards (accidentally or on purpose). When someone posted about Camel Rock having new cards, I had my salesperson call them immediately as we were supposed to be on the bid list (directly this time). The buyer claimed that they had not purchased cards in a while, and had quite a few in stock. This led me to believe that the CPI cards were now being used (old stock).
However, I would like to see a scan of the CPI Camel Rock card that they issued - that would answer MANY questions!
