That RR cost $7.30 from Denver to Mike in LV. Guess we might want to re-think how we do RRs and keep them under 1 lb. Like Archie says, less than 1 lb in a flat rate envelope is $3.85 + .45 for confirmation. Over 1 lb and it goes by weight and zip code. Also, rather than sending it back and forth across country, perhaps it would be better to send it to the next closest person geographically - that may save some cost. I believe when the RR came to me it cost $5+ but can't remember. I was the 1st one to pay the new rate to send it on. If you take 10 cards and it costs you $9 to send it, that averages 90 cents per card. You have to decide how many cards you want to trade - but to send it on with taking only a few cards will really cost you. I agree OUCH is a good word. Shotgun swaps may become more popular.
