Dry Camping at the casino
I always have a story to tell after a vacation, right? Well this time is no different. We just got back from a 10 day trip through Nevada. What fun. Warm days and cool nights. It does get hot in Carson City though. We were at a casino which I want to, but won't mention the name on this space. We asked about blank cards as a friend of mine only does BLANKS! We were told we had to talk to a lady who would be in around 6 am the next morning. It was already around 2am. Ok--we were tired anyway--what is 4 hours--right? We said we would wait in the van. We were told we would have to pay $20 for dry camping in the casino parking lot. What? We were waiting to speak with someone in a few hours. It didn't matter--if we were NOT in the casino, we were dry camping and that was $20. Well to make a long story a wee bit shorter, we waited for this lady to show and she didn't. After even more time hanging around the casino, me losing money on the machines, and Daryl pacing, we found out from the club girls that it was her day off. I guess you could call this more bull--no we didn't hit one, but we were served some! Pat--happy to be home.
PS--we never did get the slot cards.
