Q-thanks to you too. I thought a chapter would be fine until they decided to change the rules again. Nate approached Jim and me as we were at a trade. He wanted a chapter. He made several offers, and one of them was that the chapter members didn't have to be members of the CC>CC. I have several older people who want only to collect slot cards, and want nothing to do with the main club. I myself don't care, as I am already a CC>CC member, but what do I tell these people now? The rules changed in the matter of a few days. How many more rules will change in the weeks to follow. I hope Jim does make a chapter, but will the regular members be able to attend the trade? Will we have to be chapter members? Like I said before, I see no benefit. I wanted slot card recognition last year, and NO ONE would help. I started PACK, and now all of a sudden they want a chapter for card people? They don't want us. We were told to get off the chipboard by several of the people who post on it. Yet they can post pictures of dogs, kids, and have a daily joke. So Mike was good enough to get us our own board so we can talk cards. I think card people are some of the nicest people out there, and we have been on both sides of the fence, chips and cards. I still keep asking questions but I am not hearing too many convincing answers! I can't tell you what to do, but I even had one man offer us a suite next year if we can't get into the "chapter" trade. I'll keep you posted. Pat
