I have to say one more thing. I was dissappointed the the CC>CC, and how they handled the trade room. I was told, and I think it was in the quarterly that we would have a slot card trade room, and I made very sure that it would NOT be called PACK. I had to write several long letters explaining that there are a lot of CC>CC members who DO collect cards, and we would like a separate room. I explained it would make the trading easier for all sides if we were not competing with the chippers at the same tables. I was answered, and the letter told me we would have the room, and at 10 in the morning. My friend was there by 10, and was kicked out of the room! It was posted we could not go in until 11. After much debate about collecting money to get a suite, Bruce helped us out, and got us into the room, where the slot card people took over the front 6 tables, and traded all day long. A few chippers went to the back tables, but 75% were slot cards! I made sure Wayne and a few others saw that as they walked through. Thanks for trying to help Wayne. Believe it or not, one member found the sign which said slot card/room key trade..HIDDEN! What? Like I said--I was dissappointed in the CC>CC and their attitude towards us low life slot card collectors! But now we are good enough to start a chapter? I have questions...lots of questions. Pat
PS--I was accused of having the PACK people pay "dues", thus making us a club rather than a newsletter, but I want to say we are non-profit, and all money goes to the cost of printing, and postage. Last year we went in the hole, but who cares. I enjoy this job, and it keeps me off the streets! Ha!
