Well, I am back home, just exhausted from the convention in Las Vegas. I flew in late Sunday and left yesterday morning. I will have to unpack all the stuff and see exactly what I got at the trade sessions and in all my driving around town and beyond.
I spent too much time on Monday going out to Mesquite, but they had new cards at three of the four places and the other (Oasis) wasn't a new card but I didn't have that one with my name on it, so that will be a new one going into my collection anyway. Tuesday was also mostly taken up with a run down to Laughlin where I got some stuff but spent so much time that I got back to LV too late to do much. Most of Wednesday was spent in the trade room and the banquet at the convention, trading and talking with Pat and Steve, Albert, Steve, Bob, Esther, Jim, and so many others whose names are lost in the sponge I call a brain. If I didn't mention you, don't feel bad, I forget my own name sometimes. Here's a candid shot of Bob Carroll and Pat Lamb going over cards at the Wednesday trade session. [Bob's the one on the... left... I think. ;-)]
Overall, I regret I didn't have more time. The hours I spent running and looking for cards were just not enough, and I regretted I didn't have more time to sit and play video poker. And I regret I didn't win...
More postings later with pictures of stuff I got and showing off what is new and different for those who weren't there.
