The Wells & Lamb Price Guide 2nd Edition is a valuble tool to collectors with lots of information on cards, but some things are still to be discovered. In the case of the Sheraton Casino in Tunica (or Robinsonville) MS. The Guide knew of only three kinds when it came out, a gold Players Privilege, a silver Players Privilege, and the gold Caesar's Emperors Card. In going through my cards, I found an old one Steve doesn't have, a variation of the Emperors Card, and a just released card that I got at the March Chicago Collectors Show.
It turns out my trip to MS was a little earlier that Steve Wells' one, and I have a gold Players Privilege with a (601) phone number on the back. All the other gold Players Privilege cards they know of have the 1-800 phone number. I have talked with Pat Lamb and she agrees that this newly discovered super-rare first issue card is worth 27 million billion dollars and 12 cents. I may bring it to the convention in June and let people touch it for $1000 a piece. So the other gold Players Privilege is now going to be the type 2. The Guide listed a Type two as a gold Caesar's Emperors Card. But I found a secon type of back for the gold Caesar's Emperors Card. The text is the same, but it is squeezed into 14 or 12 lines of text on the back. We have to guess which was older, and only since I had the 14 line earlier, I would gues the 14 line type should now be type 3 and the 12 line type should be type 4. Finally, the casino recently started using a new card with a colorful picture of the building on the front. I would guess we can call this type 5.
