Just back from a 3 day stay at the Stardust....super wonderful service from the Stardust staff. We were there for the announcement of Nov. 1st being the last day, employees were actually relieved to be given a final date.
We were also there when the "Billboard near Stardust rained $1 bills on the strip". Pretty funny actually - a website betting service had a billboard with a plexi-glass type box containing $100,000 in $1 bills in it proclaiming that someone would win the money by Thanksgiving. Poor security guard hired to "watch" the billboard went to take a break and came back to the box broken into and $1 bills raining on the strip.
Anyhow, I was able to get a few extra Stardust keys - World's Largest Resort Casino 1958 (picture of front of casino in 1958) and Lido de Paris showgirl Valerie Perrine 1968.
Does anyone have an Aku, Aku 1969 room key to trade?
