New slot cards for the Las Vegas Hilton were introduced August 1. They are using a tiered slot program. As you can see on my card, even the lowest level has an expiration date!

I discovered the new cards when I went to the Hilton for dinner and stopped at a machine to play. I inserted my old card and the reader said, "Invalid". Then I noticed these little signs hanging on every machine. I inquired at the slot club about the "invalid" notice and I was told that my points were fine, but all players must upgrade to the new card to receive new points.
