Atlantic City Bonanza !!

ATLANTIC CITY TRIP REPORT

Just back form 5 days in New Jersey. This is the first time in four
years that I've been there, and I must say that I was impressed
with the changes. We have been avoiding A.C. because of an
unfriendly feeling we got in the past due to difficulty in parking
and dealing with the natives. We are low-rollers, living on Social Security and don't feel comfortable with high prices and high limits.

This time we got a great room at a good price at the Sands -
Madison Hotel and found most people that we dealt with to be almost
friendly. Each casino has a self-park garage for $2 with a transfer
to any other casino for free. Parking at the Sands was free for all
players, not just guests.

The first thing we noticed that there were nickle slot machines
everywhere, just like in Vegas (there were none here before).
Of course, the table limits were higher than before; it was almost
impossible to find a $5 minimum craps table. So we spent the time
playing the 5-cent multi-line slots and looking for abandoned slot
cards. I will just have to wait till I get back to Nevada to play
those 25-cent and $1 craps tables.

Card hunting was fantastic as we came a way with over 500 cards from
all 12 casinos and over 60 variations with many dupes for trading. I found over 20 new cards for my collection.

The best place to look for cards was the Trump Marina, as they have 7 different current Wild Cards being issued. When you ask for two, they give you two different cards, and it doesn't take long to find all 7.

I have a illustrated trade list with 53 different cards from Atlantic City,
which I will trade 1-for-1 for cards that I need; just click on the
link below:
