The Diamond Jo Riverboat Casino at Dubuque, Iowa had a three-level card design that they just put in not too long ago (just last spring, I think) with the nice pictures of diamonds against a pale blue backround. These had color stripes along the bottom third of the cards (medium blue for entry level, light gray for Double Diamond and dark gray for Triple Diamond. Well, I made a road trip out to the east side of Iowa to throw some money in the machines and get some cards, and I was pleasantly surprised to see they had a new set of cards in use. They are blue (Diamond), purple (Double Diamond) , and green (Triple Diamond). I could not find a green card in my harvesting, and I found one blue and a handful of purples while there. If blue is the entry level, I don't understand why I was issued a purple (I play there not too often, so I shouldn't be mid-level) and why there were almost all purple floating around. I am only guessing, but I wonder if something happened to or something was wrong with the blue cards and they were not using them?
