See what we miss when we don't travel? Had a ball again--took 5 days to go to NM, AZ, and Vegas. We did hear the weather was going to be bad, so we left one night early to head home. Yikes--we got out of SUNNY HOT Vegas and 3 hours later it was MINUS 9 degrees. YES -9. Brrrr. Ok, so it is around 1:30 in the morning, and no coats (who needs a coat in Vegas?) So we find an all night Walmart in Cedar City, and you got it, we bought hooded sweatshirts and a comforter so we could sleep in the back of the van. It took 15 minutes the next morning to scrap the ice off the INSIDE of the windows. Ha! If my kids ever do anything this crazy--they will be grounded!!!! But we really did have a nice time. Great rooms at Wynn--we should have spent one more night. It is so good to be home in the snowy mountains in this nice warm 32 degree weather. That desert was COLD! I repeat--MINUS 9 degrees!! Pat
