This unannounced card was issued for the 25th Anniversary, 1980 Phildelphia Phillies Reunion autograph promotion held at Trump Marina over this past weekend. While the promotion was well advertised, the issuance of this LE commemorative slot card was not. I didn't find out about the card until our return from A.C. on Monday morning. When Brenda and I returned to A.C. last night to see Pat Cooper at The Hilton, we stopped at Trump Marina to inquire about the card. I was advised by the Trump Marina card center staff that 10,000 of these cards were made and all were distributed for a few days leading up to the day of the event and that none are left.

Hard to believe that many cards were distributed with nobody in the hobby knowing about them until after the fact. At any rate, Brenda found only TWO orphaned cards last night.

As Ron says ... "don't ask"!!!
