There are a number of different ways to manufacture cards depending on the quantities needed and type of printing (4-color process, spot, etc.).

At most places, expect a 500 minimum, and at least 40cents/each at that quantity. These will be what we call 'surface-printed' and will not be the high-gloss versions that most keys are. For that type, the minimum order is usually 1,000 at a cost of nearly $1.50/each.

If anyone is really interested in undertaking this type of project for themselves, I will happily put you in direct contact with a manufacturer or two that make the 'surface-printed' versions.

I have only seen two 'personal' keys made in the casino industry (not issued at the desk, only available from the person directly). Both were from the Palms Casino.
