KLAS-TV (Las Vegas channel 8, CBS) announced this morning that Harrah's has "put on hold" any plans for rebuilding any of their Gulf Coast properties. They have been offering employees jobs at their other properties, and paying to move the families to the new areas.

What with the recent purchase of Caesars Entertainment, Bourbon Street Casino, Imperial Palace Casino, and their remodeling plans for Bally's (in the not too distant future), perhaps they think that the rebuilding money may be put to better use elsewhere.
