Dave Johnston and his wife went to a lot of work for the card swap in Vegas. He rented the room, set it up, put up the banner, sent out newsletters to all members, made sure the raffle items were available, ran the raffle, took in dues, bought the food, set up the lunch, cleaned up the lunch tables, and raffle tables, cleaned the room after the swap. AND--smiled the entire time even though a few people did complain about the off site card swap. I think he needs a big "THANK YOU" here on this bbs and I am giving it to him. He saved the club a lot of money on food and drinks, and we were not restricted to any rules, other than "no dancing" on the tables. Dave--we love you, and appreciate all you do for us. We are looking forward to next year. And yes--he has even made reservations this far in advance to make sure we have a trade room once again. I had a blast and was glad to see everyone who attended the swap. See you again in 2006. Pat Lamb
