Sorry to everyone else about using this board for personal messsages but at the moment I have no alternative.

Pat, I contacted my server and they told me that unless I'm receiving some sort of error message (which I am not) then the blockage must me on your end as my server does not get involved in outgoing spams. So possibly you might want to take Larry's advice and check your spam folder.
