It's interesting that I've actually had very little communication with the guy. I won two auctions - one that had multiple items with a key and one that was only a key. I only received the one with the other stuff and it was missing the key. I never received the other key. Told him I didn't get the keys - he kinda went a little nuts but said he would send replacements. They never arrived. I told him that they never arrived and he went a little nuts & said to give it more time. I emailed him later to tell his it still wasn't received, he got ticked...then later emailed saying he found the envelope between the seats of his truck and apologized. Two more weeks went by and I received nothing, at which time I emailed him and told him it was never received and I was done...and I left him negative feedback. When he says he wants an apology, he must be referring to leaving him negative feedback because I've said nothing to him other than statements along the lines of "I still don't have it".
Keep in mind I won and paid for these immediately on 9/20 - what's that, something like a month & a half ago? It's not like I didn't give him a chance. He finally refunded one of the purchase amounts and begged me to take off the negatives. I ignored that email & he went bonkers with the massively swearing message that I forwarded to eBay. They obviously contacted him as that's when he followed with the threatening email (which has also been forwarded to eBay).
And to think that some of his other negatives said he was rude.
