I appreciate that you came here to address the problem. As you stated in your message, I have purchased items from you in the past and all have been perfect transactions (and by reviewing your feedback you will see the positive feedback I left for each transaction).
The problem with the listing, in my opinion, rests in two areas - (1) the picture shows four keys, and (2) the listing is for 4 - BORGATA WATER CLUB RARE HOTEL ROOM KEY KEYS. I'm certain that you can see how these two main features of the auction listing would be interpreted as being for the purchase of all four keys. Multiple buyers have interpreted this as the case, myself being one of the buyers.
As I stated in my earlier posting, I planned on contacting you once I obtained my shipment if it did not include the four keys. When a difference exists between what is expected in an auction and what actually arrives, I believe the seller should always be offered the chance to address the situation (and since you have confirmed that only one key was indeed sent, I would appreciate you contacting me via email with how you wish to address this difference). If I cannot reach an acceptable resolution with a seller, I'll turn to the eBay Resolution Center.
The two responses received by poobie66 posted here on the message board made it appear that you felt entirely blameless with the misinterpretation of the number of keys in the auction lot. As you referred to the eBay dutch auction policy, I would like to make reference to another eBay policy - that being the Seller Performance Policy. The policy directly relates to eBay's goal of providing a high level of customer satisfaction. When given the opportunity to address a misunderstanding, it would seem prudent for a seller to attempt to find a way to satisfy the concerns of the buyer. As a Certified eBay Trading Assistant, I would have expected you to go above and beyond the basic requirements, especially given the consequences of falling below the minimum performance standards based upon Feedback and the Detailed Seller Ratings (those gold stars for "Item as described", "Communication", "Shipping time", and "Shipping and handling charges" for those not familiar with their official name or importance).
Again, I appreciate that you wish to address the situation and I sincerely hope you find a result for each transaction that both you and the buyer find acceptable. Taking the time to post here tells me that you wish to work to this result.
I wish you and the other buyers many future successful transactions.
Jim
