When the Mirage was first built it was a new concept developed by Steve Wynn. To further attract customers he developed “Treasure Island at the Mirage” with a pirate theme for families. When Steve Wynn got into financial trouble a hostile takeover was mounted by MGM & Kirk Kerkorian. Here’s a phone card from Treasure Island:

In 2003 Treasure Island was re-branded into TI. Buccaneer Bay was replaced by Siren’s Cove with a new free show titled “The Sirens of TI” for an adult theme. I prefer the new look. Here’s a phone card from TI:
